Paulina Nowiczenko Founder, Barrister & Solicitor
Before starting her career in law, Paulina graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2011 with a degree in Finance. After that, she worked as a Financial Analyst for a government department in Alberta. She later achieved her Juris Doctor law degree with honors from the University of Newcastle in 2016. In 2018, Paulina was admitted to the Alberta Bar, and it was around that time she discovered her passion for personal injury law. Since then, her legal focus has been entirely on this area. Outside of work, Paulina enjoys spending time with her family, hitting the gym, and tending to her garden.
Marcin Filipowicz Student-at-Law
Marcin holds a Master of Laws degree from Jagiellonian University’s Faculty of Law and worked as a registered lawyer with the Warsaw Bar Association in Poland. He moved to Alberta in 2015, and while working as a paralegal he began the requalifying process to become an admitted lawyer in Alberta. Marcin is now a Student-at-Law at The Accident Lawyers, bringing 18 years of legal experience from various areas of law. Beyond his legal pursuits, Marcin loves backpacking and travelling. His favourite hiking destinations include Jasper and Lakeland Provincial Park Trails, which he often enjoys with his wife and daughter.
Jessy Ovsepyan Legal Assistant
Jessy has a passion for helping others and has a strong work ethic. She earned a diploma in Legal Administration with Honours in 2007 in British Columbia, Canada. Once she moved to Alberta in the Fall of 2021, she decided to pursue her studies further and graduated with a diploma in Paralegal studies in January 2023. She joined the Accident Lawyers shortly after finishing her legal studies. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family by visiting new places, baking, and looking after her garden.
Phillip MoultParalegal
Phillip is a military veteran who decided to switch to a law career after serving in the Air Force for 12 years. He attained his law degree at Bond University in Australia in August 2021. Now, he's part of the Accident Lawyers team, working as a paralegal. He is currently working towards becoming an admitted lawyer in Alberta. Outside of work, Phillip loves playing golf and hanging out with his family.
